Why are you angry?
Humans have a beautiful gift called emotions . These varied emotions make us what we are. In order to live as a community and to interact with each other we need the help of our feelings. So far so good, what humans have done here is that they have categorized and quantified them into groups.Anger is one such emotion.

Once we divide something, we start performing all sorts of operations on those entities, the good/evil etc. This is exactly what has happened with our emotions. We must understand that in order to maintain a perfect balance ALL the emotions are necessary and that includes even the bad ones. If we are not supposed to show them then what is the point of having them? The key lies in maintaining balance. Can you imagine a world in which everyone is ALWAYS SMILING!! It feels scary to me.
The point I wish to make is that we as humans keep shifting from one emotion to another because we have them, they are there to make our lives more meaningful. Most of the times the motivation that we need to do something or to AVOID something comes from our inner self, our emotions.They are our guiding lights in this world.
A person who is devoid of emotions of devoid of Life.
Is anger good?
One such emotion is Anger. It is a very interesting reaction we have, it is also a common one. Instead of accepting it we try to either suppress it because it is “bad” . Why do we have to do that?
Can we not try to UNDERSTAND it? Manage it by understanding it. Once we are trying to understand the cause of our anger as mere observers then we can see that it is a minor issue, waiting to be resolved. They say
If you get angry at someone, wait for a day to give your reply
Such a beautifully explained concept it is, when you get angry your mind is not thinking straight and you have a strong urge to inflict damage to the other person. Somewhere deep down you know that this would only be a temporary relief and might cause you further problems in the future. But the anger overcomes you and you act upon it.
One should simply hold it back just for a day and do not even think about it, you will soon realize that the anger is melting away and the next day you have absolutely nothing to say.
Anger is not a bad emotion as it is made to believe, having said that it is also equally true that it has serious implications on our health and so if you think that it is best to seek help and bring it under control.
On the positive side, anger brings determination in you to focus on bringing change. It can also be converted into a constructive energy. Anger can be used to the betterment of mankind.It motivates you to believe that anything is possible. You are the better judge, I would love to hear your views on this topic.
